Hardware Swap

We will be swapping out a hard drive caddy within one of our servers. The caddies locking mechanism has failed resulting in the drive becoming offline due to the vibration within the DC caused by server fans and hard drives.

The server can handle one drive being offline at any time without affecting customers' data. The server will remain online and functional during this time.

During this maintenance period, the server is "at-risk" due to one hard drive being removed to perform the swap. All other drives are in good condition so we do not expect other issues during this time.

The swap will only take a few minutes and the drive will update its data within a few minutes of going back online.

Our Primary Newcastle datacentre is suffering a network outage due to the ongoing hardware failure at London Harbour Exchange and an unknown fault within our backup connection via Manchester.
